ABOUT THE CONCERT

With music that captures the essence of Spring, the concert hall is transformed into a picturesque field of green grass, floating butterflies, and singing songbirds.

Copland’s optimistic Appalachian Spring, including folk tune "Simple Gifts," paints dreamy landscapes while Coleman’s Umoja, meaning “unity” in Swahili, weaves in sweet and simple melodies.

A dynamic guest violinist takes center stage for Vivaldi’s vivid interpretation. Robert Schumann found inspiration in the season of renewal for his very first symphony.
