Description

Conductor Katherine Kilburn leads us in a discovery of inspiring works by four composers, including Jessie Montgomery and Anna Clyne, whose music spans 80 years. From beginning to end, this concert celebrates the impact of four trailblazing women in classical music.

Featuring three living composers, we'll hear a musical snapshot of what today's classical music sounds like through the voices of composers reflecting on the world around them. From a tour through a museum and a 21st-century anthem, the music you'll hear draws inspiration from sources as unique and multi-faceted as the composers themselves.
